Job Summary

Performs the duties of a researcher as well as data scientist. Serves as the expert in machine learning approaches for conversational language and speech processing. Analyzes and synthesizes internal and external insights and marketplace trends from our existing portfolio of voice and text-based Natural Language Processing (NLP) models. Produces data-driven analysis to substantiate hypotheses and evaluating novel algorithms. Develops state-of the-art algorithms, contributes in publishing at top-tier conferences. Collaborates closely with team members on developing the algorithms and demonstrating them in systems including prototypes and products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for building and maintaining NLP models · Responsible for NLP text and voice analytics - ability to look at customer data and being able to take text, clean it up & build on it.
  • Analyzes and synthesizes internal and external insights and marketplace trends; focuses on creating value for customers.
  • Performs advanced analytical and research skills along with experience working with data in a highly analytic environment.
  • Researches, designs, implements, analyzes and evaluates novel algorithms for multimodal conversational AI using deep learning.
  • Maintains working knowledge of analytics, user experience design and business impact.
  • Assist management with integrating usability studies, user research, and market analysis to into product requirements
  • Serves as an agent of change, think outside the box to resolve, and evolve our Pharmacy and Retail customer experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of experience with speech recognition, or High School diploma/GED and at least five years of experience with speech recognition.
  • At least 2 years experience of AI/NLP (Natural Language Processing) text analytics and training
  • Experience in programming – SQL, Python, deep learning, Pytorch, Tensorflow. Excellent software development experience
  • Automated deployment of trained machine learning models on cloud platforms.
  • Experience in speech processing, NLP, voice to text processing, speaker ID, speech emotion processing and translation.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Linguistics or Cognitive Science
  • Experience in analysis, visualization, and interpretation of model output
  • Experience with Nuance speech recognition software, speech synthesis software, and voice biometrics Software
  • Working with cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud/Google Cloud Platform. MLOps related
  • experience for deployment in production
  • Fluent or near-fluent in Spanish
  • Experience with retail and/or the healthcare industry
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
