Job Summary

Responsible for managing less complex customer relationships with smaller pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Provide service to customer from proposal development to contracting, implementation, and billing. Maintain and monitor contracts for compliance ensuring maximum value is attained. Develop an understanding of the client’s requirements for their product line. Proactively outreach to new and current clients to coordinate presentations, meetings, in-services, and business reviews.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manages relationships and service delivery for smaller assigned books of business. Serve as a resource for assigned clients and staff. Resolve manufacturer customer issues by working internally with appropriate key operational teams.
  • Manages customer relationship with smaller strategic pharmaceutical and biotech accounts. Provides analysis that assists with identifying opportunities within existing books of business to increase account penetration and capitalize on contract and procurement opportunities.
  • Supports implementation team for all manufacturer contracts and programs.
  • Provides a collaborative customer-facing, problem-solving environment with internal WAG Business units with the vision of enhancing Walgreens market leadership.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to attain department goals.

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in related field OR High School Diploma / GED and at least 4 years of experience in related field.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • At least 2 years of experience in performing a combination of analysis, administration, or operations in the healthcare industry.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: creating and modifying text styles, numbering and sorting lists, working with sections and columns, formatting tables, and using templates and using diagrams and drawing tools)
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: creating presentations, adding and removing slides, entering and formatting text, applying design templates, modifying masters, inserting graphics and objects, creating handouts).
  • At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (nationally and/or internationally)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree/MBA
